My Life As A Writer

Who would have thought that I would be a writer by profession and attending the 2017 Media Innovation Conference, a conference for physical and life sciences. I am not specifically a professional who writes about the said topic. I do, however, write about what I believe in and what I feel is right, moral, true, and correct. I know… I am such a naïve person to think that the world can be saved. The world is in the hands of people who think and do. I do not plan on saving it. It is too magnanimous. I only plan to talk about what I believe in and if people with capabilities will listen to me, then, it would be a blessing.

I write about current events in the country and within our community. If I hear something that catches my attention, I go to it and listen. After listening, I write my piece. I do not ask questions then and there. What I do is ask the questions on my write-up, tag the people involved, and let them answer through the online medium. Basically everything now is online and I wanted to give them the opportunity to answer my queries so that they can explain if well, verbally, and viewers who are interested can read about it, as they interact, react, or respond.

It is true that writers cannot please everybody. My views may not be good for some while others may find it useful. I do not dare say that I am always right but my rational thinking and emotions are well intact to craft my words.

I usually attend events concerning family, children, teenagers (mostly those who are mothers themselves), DIY projects, work from home opportunities, healthcare, and mental health in general. I am not writing to earn money. My craft is not just hobby, but it is a passion to make a difference, however little it is. As for the media innovation conference, I have made a page about their program and it was a sweet success. People were asking and a representative from the conference was very happy to assist those who had questions.

If only every organization in this world is transparent, we would have a better place to live in.
